Welcome to Pleasanton Pride's home on the web!

Welcome to the Pleasanton Pride Girls Lacrosse Club. We are a fully sanctioned  Northern California Junior Lacrosse Association club. Our organization is a volunteer nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting girls youth lacrosse in the Pleasanton and surrounding communities. Our goal is to provide a club focused on the unique needs of girls lacrosse and their development.  We will strive to provide a club that offers a positive sports experience to both the beginner and experienced lacrosse player.

Spring 2021 Registration is OPEN!

Dear Pride Families,

After a tremendous response to our summer clinic, we are excited to announce that we have opened registration for the Spring 2021 season! We hope to give our players and families the opportunity to get outside and be active, while also maintaining a high-level of safety for everyone. At this time we are planning for a modified spring season that consist of teams of up to 14 players that will meet 2-3 times per week for practices. The practices will include training drills, conditioning and intrasquad scrimmages.

Spring 2021 Modification Summary

Registration Fees: Due to the uncertainty of COVID restrictions, we will not collect registration fees at this time. All players will be placed on the waitlist and will receive notice of fee collection starting January 1. PGLC BOD is working on financial options and efforts to reduce the financial burden for our families for the spring season. Waitlisted players will receive further communication by December 1 on next steps.

Uniforms/Gear: To keep costs low, PGLC BOD has decided not to order socks or kilts this year. PGLC BOD will decide by Feb 1 on loaner jerseys and goalie gear distribution.

Games: We do not currently plan to have games between different teams or clubs. PGLC BOD will make a go/no go decision to participate in NCJLA games on Feb 1. Click here for the full Modified 2021 Spring Season Calendar.

Evaluations: PGLC understands that our players have limited time being active with friends. For this season, we have suspended evaluation requirements for all age levels. We will do our best to group teams based on friend requests, grade and school. Please limit your request to 2 friends and provide buddy names when prompted during registration.

Team Size: Due to the requirement of no more than 14 participants on a team, we anticipate we will need more coaches than prior years. If we do not have enough coaches or spots for all waitlisted players, we will assign team placement based on the date/time registered. We encourage families to register early, spread the word that registration is open and volunteer for coaching if you are able to.

We will be following the direction of the City of Pleasanton as well as the Alameda County Public Health Department guidelines for safety. These include:

  • Stable cohort of 14 participants plus two supervising adults
  • Cohort must be stable for at least three weeks
  • Participants and supervising adults may only be part of one cohort
  • Outdoor use only
  • Six feet distance, to the extent feasible
  • Limit sharing of equipment, disinfect after use
  • Participants 2+ years shall wear face coverings, to the extent feasible
  • All adults must wear face coverings at all times
  • No mixing of cohorts
  • Hygiene protocols in place

As we’ve seen over the past several months, health orders and guidance can quickly change, and we will adjust as needed. We will continue to update waitlisted parents on next steps and covid protocol as necessary. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to

Thank you for your support,
